First day- We will come to pick you up from your place at 8 AM. We will go up in the mountains tovisit the Horses Waterfall, the biggest waterfall in Romania, then we will goto Maramures Peasant Museum, the only museum in the country dedicatedto the Romanian peasant woman. Here you can learn how they worked andmanaged: the good mother, the mother or the sister, and here you will alsohear the most fantastic stories, myths and local legends of Maramures, afterwe will go to Barsana Monastery, located in a dreamlike natural setting,between hills and forests. The Church of Ba rsana Monastery is a veryspecial one, being included in the UNESCO Heritage, after, then it will betime for a lunch break in one of the best Romanian restaurants in the area.Our next stop after lunch will be a visit to the Water mill. This is a placewhere people from villages are using the power of water mill for variousactivities. Third day – after breakfast, our first visit will be to Sapanta, where we willvisit The Merry Cemetery, it is famous for its brightly coloured tombstoneswith native paintings describing, in an original and poetic manner, the peoplewho are buried there including scenes from their lives. Then we will stop overat Sapanta Peri Monastery the tallest wooden church in the world. After thatit will be time for lunch at a local restaurant and then we go back to ClujNapoca where we have dinner at the accommodation.
Fourth day – after breakfast we will go to Sibiu a city that is famous for beingnamed the European Cultural Capital in 2007. From there we head straightto visit Bran Castle, better known as the famous Dracula Castle. It will soonbe time for lunch, then we head off to Sighisoara where we have dinner andaccommodation in a location that also has an Equestrian Center.
Fifth day – after breakfast, we will go to visit Sighisoara Fortrees, the best-preserved city fortress in Transylvania and also the largest continuouslyinhabited medieval fortress in Europe, registered in the UNESCO heritage. Wewill have lunch and then after lunch we head off to the Equestrian Center forcarriage ride and horseback riding, dinner and accommodation. This willconclude our five day tour of some of the best places in Romania.
Sixth day – after breakfast, we will go back to to Cluj-Napoca, where we willhave a City Tour, lunch and then we will take you back to the airport, wherewe will see you off with the desire to see you returning back to Romania soonto discover even more beautiful places!
